Reasons why I study other languages:
- So I can read more primary documents, which will help me in my study of history.
- To prepare me for (hopefully) someday being able to travel again.
- So that I can talk to more people and read more books.
- To learn about other cultures.
How I actually use what I’ve learned:
- I can chatter at my cat and dog in three languages.
